Dear Mother Earth, Thank You
Dear Betoken Babes,
Just like we make adulting easier, we’ve also made respecting Mother Earth as easy as enjoying a Hello Mellow capsule with your morning cup of matcha tea.
So in honor of April being Earth Month, instead of our usual ‘Dear Jane’ letter, we’re dedicating today’s post to sharing how we show our love and gratitude to Mother Earth to make sure that she stays healthy, happy, and habitable.
Respecting our planet while providing you with quality products that are created in an ethical way, is a part of our DNA at Betoken. I mean, what can we say? We get it from our Momma Earth.”
FREE Reusable Tote Bags
Simply use code “TOTE” at check-out when you spend $75 for a free reusable tote bag, which is an eco-friendly alternative to using plastic bags. They’re great for when you head to the farmer’s market, go shopping, or whenever you need a convenient way to carry your things from place to place.
Instead of plastic, we opt to use 100% recyclable glass jars to house our best-selling Hello Mellow capsules that aid in easing stress and anxiety, and our Nighty Night capsules that help you to slip into a peaceful and restorative night’s sleep.
Easily recycle your empty jar by throwing away the plastic cap and then adding the jar to your usual recyclables of cans, glass, and cardboard. If you don’t have curbside pick up then simply dispose of your empty jars at recycling stations like Whole Foods or Target.
Pro tip: Repurpose your empty jars by using them as containers for small office supplies (like paper clips) or as a tiny glass flower pot. Get creative!
If it’s good enough to come from Mother Earth, then it’s good enough for us to use in our products. We pride ourselves on using all-natural ingredients in our capsules, creams, and bath bombs. Honor your body and our planet by saying no to harsh and harmful chemicals and artificial ingredients.
Recyclable Aluminum Tubes
Just like our glass jars, our aluminum tubes are also 100% recyclable. Whether you’re using our Pain, Pain Go Away Cream, for pain relief and to ease muscle tension, or if you’re using our Not This Month PMS Cream, to relieve the aches and pains of period cramps, you can easily recycle them both.
Once you’ve used up the cream, throw away the plastic cap, and then toss the empty tubes in your normal recycling bin for cans and cardboards. Don’t fret if you don’t have curbside pick up, you can turn over your empties at your local recycling station such a Target or Whole Foods.
Good Manufacturing Practices Compliant
We manufacture our products in a GMP-compliant facility to ensure safety every step of the way during the production process.

Jane is the fictional heroine of the Betoken lifestyle blog, Good For Jane. Think of Jane as your virtual BFF. She lives a healthy lifestyle, but not like, over the top. When it’s not a pandemic, she loves hanging out with her friends, dating, and exercising in public. Throughout the pandemic she has baked her fair share of sourdoughs, gotten more than her fair share of takeout to “support her local restaurants”, ordered wine online and taken plenty of CBD to keep the anxiety at bay.
Jane is also the editor of the Dear Jane column. If you have a question for Jane, you can email her at email@example.com.
Dear Jane, Whenever I have to tell someone ‘no’ or put my own needs first, I seriously have mini panic attacks. I get a pit in my stomach, my heart starts to race, and I start to sweat all over. I’ve never been good at standing up for myself and I hate feeling as...
Dear Jane, We recently hired a new assistant to join our team and instead of taking things off of my plate, I feel more stressed and overwhelmed than ever. I’m doing my best to on-board him but I find that I have to show him how to do the work and then I have to go...
Dear Jane, Three weeks out of the month, I’m usually pretty cool, calm, and collected, but during the fateful week prior to my period and during my period, my mood is all over the place - and don’t even get me started about my painful cramps. Usually I’m able to have...
