about Betoken

About Our Founder

Liz founded her first CBD company in 2018 and went on to launch Betoken in 2021. She and her husband Kyle have 2 young kids, Lennon (age 6) and Crawford (age 4). They live in coastal southern Maine, down the street from where Liz grew up. They met their first year of law school in 2010. Liz practiced law for 3 years before she retired in 2013 to embark on a series of more creative endeavors. She is self taught in marketing and social media and very passionate about running Betoken, which she considers to be her 3rd child! When she’s not making Insta Reels or otherwise behind the scenes of the business, Liz can be found on the playroom floor playing legos, painting tiny fingernails or, on very rare occasions, on the Peloton (@betokenCEO) or vegged out on the couch watching Netflix.

About Our Brand

Betoken is the only CBD company designed exclusively for grown-ups. Our products are formulated with Broad Spectrum Hemp extract as well as isolated minor cannabinoids of the Hemp plant like CBN and CBG.

In addition to Hemp, each formula contains a proprietary blend of hemp and compatible plant botanicals. Our hemp comes from industrial hemp farms in Maine or Massachusetts (depending on harvest quality and quantity) and is manufactured in a GMP-compliant facility in Massachusetts. Our products are always third party tested for both purity and safety so you can feel good about what goes in and on your body. Got questions? We’d love to help.
